Tanks are found on the front lines of armed conflicts around the world. The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) possess two state-of-the-art models: the Puma infantry fighting vehicle and the Leopard main battle tank. In a crisis, the Bundeswehr's mechanized infantry are at the forefront of the fight with the Puma infantry fighting vehicle.
