Overview
When KU attacks CHOR and WU who are seriously injured, CHING succeeds to frighten him away. To divert KU's attention, CHOR instructs the others to disguise as himself and set off with CHING to meet the EMPEROR. As the masked CHOR and CHING are fighting with TING for disputing over a transaction, MASTER BAT attacks CHOR but avoids hurting CHING. CHOR suspects that MASTER BAT is YUEN. While YUEN suggests to the EMPEROR that he succeeds the throne, FU MUI, induced by LAN's intention to leave, unravels that LAN is the EMPEROR’s son . On her way to find FU MUI, CHUN is chased after by KU and is led by SIU to escape through the secret path under YUEN's bed, much to CHUN's suspicion. Seeing that the situation is not favorable, MASTER BAT wants to close the Palace and forces TING to kill CHOR.
