Overview

Happy Traveler travels to the Peloponnese and Eftychis and Electra visit the prefecture of Ilia. In the first part of the trip, they enjoy the Kotychi lagoon, a place of unique beauty. They make a short stop at the dam of Pinios and visit the village of Lampeia, which is resorted to by all those who want a little more coolness in the summer. One of the top places they see is the Foloi Forest, while they also go to Chlemoutsi Castle, the Baths of Kyllini and reach the beach of Loutra. They continue their journey, stopping in Amaliada, walking in the famous and tropical Kourouta and walking in Gastouni, a town in western Ilia. The day ends with one of the most impressive sunsets you can see on Greek soil. The first part of the trip in the prefecture of Ilia closes with a passage through Zacharo and a visit to Lake Caiaphas with its beautiful natural landscape and historic baths.
